Cell Candle Holders
The CELL collection of stainless steel candle-holders draw inspiration from the replication and growth of cellular organisms – the insertion points, or the ‘nuclei’, are unified by a dramatic reflective landscape. These processes found in nature are often embodied in the design process, as the objects are developed and considered in relation to each other, and never in isolation. As a result, the collection invites the user to multiply, reconfigure, and stack the different elements in modules which can be adapted to any environment.
The scale, materiality, and weight, of the pieces have been meticulously refined such as, the mirror-polished, and seamless PVD plating, which allows for a scratch-resistant finish; this has produced a subtle, uncompromising, and flawless quality that is unique to Zaha Hadid Design’s work.
